Homework

Homework

Homework is given regularly at the discretion of the class teacher and may include reading, spelling, RE, maths, personal research for topic work etc. Homework is a very important part of a child’s education and can support your child’s development and achievement. It also provides parents with the ideal opportunity to discuss school work with their child. Parents are asked to support the school by providing appropriate conditions for the completion of homework, by checking and signing work done and by encouragement and praise. If homework causes you or your child any concerns please talk to the class teacher.

DB Primary / Mathletics / SPaG

A large proportion of homework is set and submitted online using DB primary, Mathletics and/or SPaG.  Each child has their log on details in their homework book.  To access these site please click the links on the home page of this website.  If you have any problems accessing any of the site please contact the school office in the first instance.
