At St. Patrick’s we aim to raise children’s interest in the past. At Key Stage 1 children develop an awareness of the past, learning about changes and events within and beyond living memory as well as the lives of significant individuals from the past. At Key Stage 2 children continue to develop a chronologically secure knowledge and understanding of British, local and world history.
