The geography curriculum inspires children to find out about their surroundings and the world in which they live. At Key Stage 1 children develop their knowledge about the world, the UK and their local area and begin to use geographical skills to enhance their locational awareness. At Key Stage 2 this is extended beyond the local area to include the UK and Europe, North and South America.
